Scheduled tasks: Planify a specific task on your server at a certain time!
Thanks to the mTxServ panel, you can setup one-time or repetitive tasks. Useful when you want to execute a command or ask your server to restart!
Head to Advanced
-> Scheduled Tasks
.
You can create here a repetitive task
or a spontaneous one
Create a Spontaneous Task
A spontaneous task will run and then delete itself automatically.
On the first line, specify at which date and time the task will have to be executed. You can planify a task really early if needed.
On the second one, specify the action to perform. In the case where you want to send a command to the console, a new field will appear. Type the command without prefix:
Create a Repetitive Task
Unlike the spontaneous task, a repetitive one will never delete itself and will be executed until you decide to remove it, with an interval.
BEWARE, read all the examples before trying anything!
Please specify in detail when the task has to be executed. If you fill in 20
in minute
for example, the task will run every time the clock indicates 20
("1h20", "2h20", "3h20" etc...).
If you keep the 20
in minute but you fill in 2
in hour
, the command will run every day at 2h20
.
Now, you can put 8
in Day
for the command to start once a month, the 8th day at 2h20.
By default, the task will run every 5 minutes.
On the second line, choose the action to perform. If you select Send a command to the console
, a new field will appear.
Enter the command without any prefix:
