KCauldron was a modified version of the Minecraft server that combined the features of Cauldron and KCauldron, two other modified server projects for Minecraft.

KCauldron was popular among Minecraft server administrators because it allowed running both Bukkit plugins (providing additional server features) and Forge mods (modifying gameplay and adding new elements) on the same server.

By using KCauldron, server administrators could enjoy the compatibility and flexibility offered by both modding platforms. Bukkit plugins helped manage server aspects such as permissions, economy, and specific functionalities, while Forge mods allowed gameplay modifications by adding new blocks, items, creatures, dimensions, etc.

KCauldron was particularly useful for servers that wanted to benefit from both Bukkit plugins and Forge mods, as it provided an integrated solution to run both simultaneously. However, it's important to note that KCauldron is no longer actively developed or maintained, and there are other alternatives available to run Minecraft servers with plugins and mods.

How to create an KCauldron server?

KCauldron can be installed in one click with our automatic installer, in the administration panel of your Minecraft server.

  1. Go to the control panel.
  2. Click on Version, Modpacks.
  3. Click on KCauldron and validate.
  4. Select the latest version of KCauldron and click on Install.
  5. Select Fully reinstall my server (destroying all current data) and click Install.
  6. Your server will automatically restart on KCauldron.
    Depending on the version and/or modpack, the server may take several minutes to restart.

You have nothing else to do, KCauldron is installed on your Minecraft server!

How to update KCauldron?

Updating KCauldron is very easy. A backup is performed automatically before the update starts, allowing you to restore your server if needed.

  1. Go to the panel
  2. Click Version, Modpacks.
  3. Search KCauldron and validate.
  4. Select the new version of KCauldron and click Install.
  5. Select Install without removing current data (update), then click Install.
  6. Your server will restart after updating KCauldron.
    This may take several minutes.
