How to set a password on a Palworld server
In this tutorial, we'll see how to protect your server from unknown players, in case you only want to play with your friends. The configuration is pretty simple and will only take a minute.
Simplified version (recommended)
Go to your Configuration menu then Server configuration, click on Edit next to Server password.
Set the password the players will need to connect to the server.

Now click on Edit button then restart your server to apply the change.
Warning, when you'll try to connect to the server with its direct address, do not forget to tick the Enter a password option !
Advanced version (configuration file)
First, go to your Palworld's server dashbord. Select Files & FTP on the left sidebar then WebFTP.
The file is located in:
palworld/Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/PalWorldSettings.ini
You will find every settings that allow you to customize your server.
Look for the ServerPassword option, located at the bottom of the file, like in the screenshot below and enter the password you want to set.

Once you've set the wanted password, click on Save button then restart the server.
