Valheim server command list

There are some commands that can be used on Valheim to manage its server. Here is a list of all available commands.

Administrator Commands

  • help - Lists all the commands you can use.
  • kick [name/ip/userID] - Allows you to exclude (kick) a player from your server.
  • ban [name/ip/userID] - Bans a player from your server.
  • unban [ip/userID] - Allows you to unbang a player.
  • banned - Displays the list of banned players.
  • ping - Displays your latency with the server.
  • lodbias [number] - Defines distance bias. If empty, it displays the current lod tilt. Default 1.5.
  • info - Displays general server information.

Cheat commands

  • god - Activates god mode.
  • pos - Displays your current position on the map.
  • goto [x,z] - Allows you to teleport the player to the specified coordinates.
  • killall - Kills enemies who are close.
  • tame - Tames all nearby creatures.
  • exploremap - Unveils the map entirely.
  • resetmap - Resets the map to zero.
  • location - Player spawn location.
  • freefly- Enables free-flight photo mode.
  • ffsmooth - Allows you to adjust the fluidity of the freefly photo mode.
  • event [name] - Start an event.
  • stopevent - Stops the current event.
  • raiseskill [skill] [amount] - Increases the level of proficiency required, for example: raiseskill run 100)
  • resetcharacter - Reset player data.
  • dpsdebug - Displays the server DPS.
  • save - Forces the world to be saved.
  • removedrops - Removes all items in the box.
  • resetwind - Restart the wind.
  • players [nr] - Adjusts the difficulty scale. Specify '0` to reset the difficulty.
